It was a long fight that we were destined to lose from the beginning. The Leviathan and their slaves, the Mantus, had constructed a super weapon, capable of rendering a Class M planet, like our own, to a volcanic wasteland. This is the Eye of Dawn, the planet killer. We few, less than half of a percent of the Earth's population must now flee into the vast ocean of space, to find a home. Who knows what is out there. Who knows what villains lurk in the deep reaches of the unknown. We have only begun to test ourselves in the boundless universe, but now our small fleet, the last of our species, must set sail into the great void.
